Package includes:

• Up to three prenatal meetings prior to delivery. Let’s talk about your upcoming birth and everything you hope will be a part of that day, as well as any worries or concerns. I'll review with you what to expect during labor and delivery, create a birth preference plan, discuss how we will optimize comfort during labor and delivery, and help you plan for the postpartum period. I can provide information on resources and go over questions to ask your provider. 

• 24/7 on-call support beginning at week 38 of pregnancy

• In person support during your labor and birth. Contractions have started? Give me a call. I provide support at your home, birth center, and hospital. Because birth is unpredictable, my support comes with no additional fees or time restrictions. During labor I can provide support to create a safe, comfortable, and calm atmosphere for your labor and birth. I always advocate for your individual needs and desires, provide pain management techniques, and emotional care. 

• Up to 120 minutes of postpartum support immediately following birth to provide comfort and to support bonding and breastfeeding (if desired)

• One postpartum follow up visit if desired where we get to chat about and celebrate your baby’s birth! I will also check in on newborn feeding, sleep, and any other new parent questions and discuss how the adjustment period is going.

• Photographs of labor, delivery, and postpartum (on smartphone and Canon as I'm able) if desired.

Cost for this package is $2200

Additional postpartum support available as part of my postpartum doula package below.

Services Offered:

• • A Postpartum Doula works with each family individually to find out their particular needs. Some of the postpartum services that a doula will perform include:

    • Breastfeeding support

    • Help with the emotional and physical recovery after birth

    • Light housekeeping so that the family is better supported and feels less overwhelmed

    • Running errands

    • Assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, feeding and comforting

    • Light meal preparation

    • Teaching baby soothing techniques

    • Caring for infants and education on infant care

    • Sibling care

    • Referrals to local resources such as but not limited to parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation support and other parenting support groups

    • $50 per hour day time, $65 per hour night time, with a $200.00 non refundable deposit due when this contract is signed. The remaining balance can be made in weekly payments from the start of services. 

I work with select local midwives as an occasional assistant during births. I am happy to give out their names on being contacted and you are welcome to hire them and tell them you would like me there as an assistant. It is ultimately up to the midwife if they can move forward from there. I am unable to work as a doula and an assistant at the same birth, so I will be supporting you in a different capacity and we can discuss which one would be more helpful to you if the midwife does move forward with your suggestion.
